Laura Leonor Ortiz

Laura has eight years of experience in industry working in the formulation and management of social projects, territorial research, and the accompaniment of social organisations and ethnic communities, incorporating gender, diversity, and interculturality frameworks.

She works as a researcher for Malula. She supports the design and implementation of community-based research projects in Bogotá and other regions of Colombia, contributing to the foundation's work in peace education, historical memory, and ethics. Collect, organise, and analyse qualitative and quantitative data gathered from fieldwork, interviews, and community activities, ensuring proper documentation and systematisation of findings. Assist in the preparation of research reports, academic publications, and presentations that communicate the foundation's results to partners, institutions, and the broader public.

Laura is an Anthropologist and Journalist. She has a masters in Political and International Studies and a specialisation in Social Management.
